DVGW, NALS, EFRC, DIN, CEN or many others: We will explain more to you than what the abbreviations mean in detail. They all represent the great experience and know-how of KÖTTER Consulting Engineers, however.

By special qualifications that we have acquired or by our commitment in various work groups and standard committees. Because we have always done this internationally, you will profit from it around the world. Machine Dynamics
  • We are certified as internally recognised vibration experts (Level III, Level II) for general machine vibrations in accordance with the International Standard ISO 18436.
  • We have been organising the annual reciprocating compressor workshop since 1997. This is the German-language communication platform of operators, manufacturers and scientists in the field of reciprocating compressors.
  • We are active in EFRC, the European communication platform for operators, manufacturers and scientists active in the field of reciprocating compressors.
  • We participate in the following work groups and committees (e.g.):

Fluid Mechanics
  • We are internationally recognised experts (Level III, Level II) in vibration condition monitoring and diagnostics pursuant to the International Standard ISO 18436.
  • We are an active contributor to the EFRC, the European communication platform for operators, manufacturers and scientists active in the field of reciprocating compressors.
  • Since 1997, we have organised the annual “Workshop Kolbenverdichter” (Reciprocating Compressor Workshop), the German-language communication platform for operators, manufacturers and scientists active in the field of reciprocating compressors.

Shocks and Vibrations
  • We are recognised official measuring agency pursuant to § 29b BImSchG (German Federal Immission Protection Act).
  • We are a DAkkS-accredited test laboratory (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 for determination of noise and vibration).
  • We are a VMPA-accredited noise measuring authority pursuant to DIN 4109.
Wind Energy
  • We are recognised official measuring agency pursuant to § 29b BImSchG (German Federal Immission Protection Act).
  • We are a DAkkS-accredited test laboratory (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 for determination of noise and vibrations).
  • We are an active member of the work group “Noise Caused by Wind Energy Installations”.
  • We participate in the round robin test for determination of acoustic output and tonality values (Organiser: Landesamt für Natur, Umwelt und Verbraucherschutz – LANUV).
Immission Control
