The Hyper Compressor is an high pressure reciprocating compressor used in the production of polyethylene (LDPE).
In this process, final pressures of up to 3500 bar are reached, which present a risk to man and machine if used improperly.
The demands on the components of the compressor are very high due to the resulting forces and require detailed continuous monitoring.
After a short introduction to this application, various case studies will be explained in a practical way.
